Pain Management Physician

Position Summary

A Pain Management Physician is responsible for providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals with acute and chronic pain. This role involves diagnosing pain conditions, creating personalized treatment plans, and performing interventional procedures, all while collaborating with a multidisciplinary medical team. The ideal candidate is board-certified, experienced in outpatient settings, and passionate about improving patients' quality of life through holistic and evidence-based approaches.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients experiencing chronic or acute pain
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, including non-opioid therapies
• Perform image-guided injections and other interventional procedures
• Collaborate with chiropractors, therapists, and case managers for integrated care
• Document all care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record system

Key Skills

• Expertise in interventional pain procedures and non-opioid pain management
• Strong communication skills and ability to build patient rapport
• Proficiency in working within multidisciplinary clinical environments

Educational & Other Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Pain Medicine or related specialty (Anesthesiology, PM&R, Neurology)
• Active or eligible medical license in the state of Nevada
• DEA certification in good standing
• At least 3 years of clinical experience in pain management, preferably in outpatient settings
• Familiarity with EMR systems and interest in holistic or integrative therapies is a plus
• Multilingual capabilities (Spanish)
