The University of Utah Palliative Care Services Program, within the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine invites applications for a faculty position in our adult palliative care clinic located in Salt Lake City, Utah. This academic faculty position is in the Clinical Track, with rank commensurate with experience.
Since its establishment in 2006, our program has been dedicated to providing complex palliative care for patients with a wide range of serious illnesses. We seek a physician who is passionate about delivering high-quality, interdisciplinary palliative care alongside a collaborative team of physicians, advance practice providers, palliative nurses, social workers, and chaplains. The position offers opportunities for housestaff education, and research engagement.
Minimum Qualifications: Medical degree, eligible for Utah Medical License, board certification or board eligibility in Palliative Medicine
Preference for candidates with background in internal or family medicine and/or previous outpatient palliative clinic experience.
