Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist in document review and organization
  • Prepare privilege logs
  • Preform fact research in Westlaw and Lexis/Nexis
  • Assist with depositions
  • Digest deposition transcripts
  • Cite checking, blue booking, shepardizing, fact checking, exhibit preparation and proof-reading of briefs, court filings and other documents
  • Prepare binders for trial, mediation, and motions
  • Records summarization
  • Prepare subpoenas
  • Case maintenance: organization of files such as correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and closing/archiving
  • Review court dockets in PACER and state court sites
  • Document and presentation preparation, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, Nuance PDF and other software
  • Assist with scanning projects
  • Assist with general office administration

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of litigation paralegal experience
  • Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Well-developed organization and time management skills
  • Creative problem solver who takes initiative to accomplish tasks with a minimal level of supervision
  • Ability to learn quickly and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing and able to learn new software

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000. The range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
