As a Specialist Partner Engineer in Data Management, you will work with Partner Development Managers and Partner Engineers to grow and support the Google Cloud Data Management partner ecosystem. In this role, you will lead all the Data Management efforts to enable partners with technical knowledge in data management and database technologies and solutions. You will contribute to customer adoption of Google Cloud by supporting partners as they illustrate how Google Cloud Data Management services can help customers innovate, bring their services to market faster, differentiate from competitors, and create new business growth streams. You will help partners succeed in database migrations to Google Cloud, supporting application migration and deployment, ensuring they have full access to Google Cloud's artifacts, tools, templates, and best practices.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$218,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with cloud architecture in a partner-facing or support role.
- Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Experience designing and building architectures and migrating workloads to cloud environments.
- Experience with database solutions, data management, schema design, schema/code conversion tools, zero downtime migrations, regression testing, and automation tools.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience building strategic business partnerships with partners and customers in an architecture or solution delivery role.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders, and working cross-functionally, in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Experience with third-party solutions in database technologies, PL/SQL development, administration/management tools, database performance tuning techniques, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with technical sales or consulting in systems integration, data transfer/management, database performance, disaster recovery, data backup strategies, database automation tools, and Developer Operations.
- Knowledge of cloud-based database architectures and deployments, with experience migrating applications, services, networking, and security.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience conducting partner CTO/technical engagements.

Responsibilities
- Enable partners in prototyping and demonstrating product integrations and guiding customers through assessments of their existing legacy application environments, and support partners developing solutions.
- Recommend and review integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to implement complete solutions on Google Cloud.
- Work with Partner Managers to identify and recruit partners in the market that can deliver innovative and complete solutions to customers, and onboard partners to the Marketplace and empower them to drive pilots, proofs of concept, and production workloads.
- Collaborate with partners to develop Google Cloud-specific solution documentation, joint technical articles, webinars, whitepapers, and demos with ISV products.
- Promote partners with account teams and develop relationships.
