Pay Range: $95,800.00 - $143,800.00 / year (posted pay range is based on a 1.0 FTE)

Additional components of compensation may include:
    • Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

POSITION SUMMARY:

Manages clinical and clerical support staff in the Cath Lab/Special Procedures, OAC Recovery, and Medical Imaging Nurses. Develops and manages department within a budget. Oversees Unit operational, administrative and staff activity ensuring quality patient care and cost effectiveness. Assists Director in the implementation of department and institutional strategic goals. As needed, provides clinical care. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental and divisional nursing philosophy and objectives, as well as Health System initiatives. Plans and participates in community outreach activities.

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Leadership experience preferred.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

Must have current RN license in the State of Illinois, ACLS and BLS Certification.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Demonstrated leadership skills. Excellent communication, organization and critical-decision making skills required. Good interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact with patients, visitors, physicians and all levels of staff within the organization and community. Successful completion of annual clinical, age and job specific competencies and skill verification tools required. Ability to develop and manage within a budget.
