Position Snapshot
The Payer Channel Manager leads the development and management of crucial relationships with third-party payers by leveraging their expertise to drive Paradigm's growth. This role is key to expanding Paradigm's reach and impact in the healthcare industry and requires a candidate with a strong background in healthcare as well as experience with payer partnerships. This individual's deep understanding of health plans and provider models will enable them to create strategic, mutually beneficial partnerships aligned with business objectives. Reporting to the VP of Customer Experience, this self-motivated and results-driven leader plays a crucial role on a cross-functional team dedicated to excellence and innovation.

Core Responsibilities
- Own new business pursuits and long-term management of payer partnerships
- Build processes to set up a successful payer partnership strategy for Paradigm
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned payers, interacting with payer contacts and internal stakeholders to facilitate problem resolution and promote high payer and provider satisfaction
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with health plan leaders and be seen as a trusted advisor
- Consistently demonstrate Paradigm's value proposition and align with payers defined success criteria
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders internally to deliver insights that inform product and operational strategy
- Represent payers internally and coordinate with other departments to implement new programs and services, coordinate resources for projects, and address ongoing service needs
- Other related duties as assigned
Experience and Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the healthcare space, preferably in an existing payer partnership role or similar B2B roles in customer success, sales, business development, or strategy
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers
- Capacity to apply comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects
- Strong project management experience with the capability to understand and deliver on key operational, financial, and strategic goals
- Ability to build repeatable processes and systems that enable Paradigm to scale with new payer partners efficiently
- Comfortable with ambiguity and seeking opportunities to shape company strategy and initiatives
- Thoughtful and operationally excellent in setting up processes and frameworks to achieve success
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) required

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or related field preferred
