The Atlantic Region CBO is seeking a dynamic and talented Payment Analysis Manager.
The primary responsibility of the Payment Analysis Manager is to manage resolution of over and underpayment discrepancies on paid accounts.
Assist in the maintenance of the PRM and actively participates in contract review.
Manages the payment analysis staff and the payment analysis workflow to assure effective and efficient resolution of account discrepancies.

The primary responsibility of the Payment Analysis Manager is to manage resolution of over and underpayment discrepancies on paid accounts.
Assist in the maintenance of the PRM and actively participates in contract review.
Manages the payment analysis staff and the payment analysis workflow to assure effective and efficient resolution of account discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Manages the payment analysis workflow of the CBO.
- Resolve issues identified for process improvement as identified by department staff.
- Reviews contracts to assure accuracy of PRM including effective and end date maintenance.
- Maintains copies of current contracts for all facilities served by the CBO. Assure executed contracts are imaged in the system.
- Assures overpayments are researched and processed with accuracy.
- Resolve issues associated with payment analysis between other internal departments of the CBO or external departments of the facilities served.
- Counsels staff with productivity, work and disciplinary actions.
- Monitors productivity standards at the individual level and directs staff in meeting departmental goals and objectives.
- Mentors and coaches staff by providing on-going training as necessary to assure communication of common issues/concerns.
- Interviews and makes recommendations to hire new employees
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of Healthcare systems/operations
- Understanding of payer claims processing philosophies
- Develops strong working relationships with major payers to assure timely resolution of claims processing issues
- Understands complexity of startup operations and project management to assure proper allocation of resources
- Must possess the ability to work effectively with payors, patients, clinicians, providers and other employees
- Ability to prioritize needs and effectively manage resources appropriately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required
