**PE- Mechanical Engineer- Independence, MO**

Salary up to 130k base

This opportunity offers a diverse range of projects across multiple building types, including
commercial, retail, and central plants. As a key member of the team, you'll be involved in
HVAC design, preparing calculations, selecting equipment, and collaborating with
architects and engineers to ensure cohesive project delivery. You'll also manage projects,
oversee teams, and create construction documents, all while coordinating with multiple
disciplines and maintaining strong client relationships. Site visits and field surveys will be part
of your responsibilities, ensuring projects stay on track and meet quality standards. Minority Owned business with a diverse mix of professionals.

load calculations, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other technical tools. Strong

  • Construction Document Production: Assist in creating and maintaining construction
  • documents, including drawings and specifications.
  • Technical Expertise: Design HVAC systems, prepare HVAC calculations, and select
  • HVAC equipment.
  • Diverse Project Experience: Work on various building types, including commercial,
  • retail, and central plants.
  • Building Codes & Load Calculations: Expertise in building mechanical codes,
  • sustainable design practices, and performing accurate load calculations.


Requirements:
3+ years of experience in HVAC systems design
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
PE Registration is preferred
Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Excel, Load Calculation programs, MS Office
Able to perform site visits on active construction sites
