Job Summary: The Pediatric Home Health RN assumes responsibility and accountability for the management of nursing and home health aide functions, and the utilization of ancillary agency staff. This role involves supervising and assisting with client care in accordance with established standards of care, promoting positive relationships between nursing staff, home health aides, physicians, and other agencies, and projecting a competent, caring image to the public served.

This role involves supervising and assisting with client care in accordance with established standards of care, promoting positive relationships between nursing staff, home health aides, physicians, and other agencies, and projecting a competent, caring image to the public served.
Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility and accountability for nursing and home health aide functions.
- Supervise and assist with client care as needed, adhering to established standards of care.
- Promote positive relationships between nursing, home health aide employees, physicians, and other agencies.
- Respond to emergency life-threatening situations and render appropriate medical treatment, including CPR.
- Ensure compliance with Accreditation Organizations and Medicare Conditions of Participation.
- Operate office equipment such as a personal computer, copier, telephone, and calculator.
- Maintain a vehicle for work purposes with required insurance coverage.
- Travel as required.
Qualifications:
Required Experience:
- Two years of pediatric nursing experience.
- One to two years of home care experience preferred.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
- Ability to ambulate, position, and transfer clients.
License/Certifications:
- Must be RN License in the District of Columbia.
- AHA BLS required
Compensation: $48.00 per hour
