Pediatric Hospitalist

Deaconess Clinic is seeking a full-time BC/BE Pediatric Hospitalist to join our growing team. This position will work 14/15 days/month (flexible schedule). Shifts are 24 hours. Physician is expected to be available for admissions while working, but physician's presence on-site is not required for the entire 24-hour shift (8 hours minimum on-site). There is an opportunity for teaching with Deaconess Family Medicine Residents or Indiana University Medical Students. Call schedule is every 3rd weekend. Physician will supervise on-site 12-hour shifts of APP support with teaching and training. Physician also cover the newborn nursery and take a rotation of not on staff baby coverage for physicians or pediatricians who don't see their inpatient newborns. Shared EMR (Epic) system between clinics and hospitals.
