Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences - New Jersey Medical School Department of Pediatrics offers an outstanding opportunity for a Pediatric Intensivist to join our faculty of more than 30 full-time clinicians and scientists as an Assistant Professor.
Minimum Education and Experience
MD or DO degree and board eligible or board certified in Pediatrics & Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Candidate must demonstrate excellence as a clinician educator.
Overview
The candidate will provide patient care in the Division of Critical Care in the Intensive Care Unit at University Hospital and provide comprehensive evaluation and management for patients in coordination with other medical professionals. Candidate will collaborate with other health care professionals to educate patients and their families about their conditions. Candidate will participate in the education of medical students and residents. Candidate will participate in the inpatient rounding schedule of the Division of Pediatric Critical Care and will actively contribute to the primary missions of the Division of Pediatric Critical Care through accessible high quality health care, scholarly activity and education.
