We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our Home Health team in Orange County, NY. This role focuses on delivering therapeutic care to children with a wide range of diagnoses, directly in their homes. As a member of our pediatric-focused care team, you'll help improve mobility, function, and overall quality of life through individualized, family-centered treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide in-home physical therapy services to pediatric patients in accordance with a physician's written referral or prescription.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of gross motor skills, mobility, posture, balance, and developmental milestones.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on clinical assessments, child-specific goals, and family input.
  • Use play-based, engaging techniques to promote motor skill development and functional independence in children.
  • Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and adjust care plans to maximize therapeutic benefit.
  • Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams.
  • Educate families and caregivers on home exercise programs, positioning strategies, and mobility training.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in care team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing professional development.

Compensation:
  • Starting at $55/hr

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Active New York State Physical Therapy License (required).
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, with pediatric and/or home health experience strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of child development and pediatric therapy techniques.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage children in therapy through creative and age-appropriate activities.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required for home visits.
