About the role:

In partnership with Commonwealth Radiology Associates, the Department of Radiology at Tufts Medical Center and Tufts University School of Medicine, seek a fellowship-trained Pediatric Radiologist for a faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The Pediatric Radiologist will work to support the clinical, education, and research missions of the section and the department as we seek to improve health and patient care throughout Boston and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

This pediatric radiologist will provide approximately 50% pediatric coverage and 50% in a second subspecialty of interest or general radiology. The pediatric radiologist will participate in the pediatric radiology call pool at Tufts Medical Center. Our pediatric services include four hospital campuses and multiple outpatient imaging centers where we interpret over 25,000 pediatric examinations annually. Tufts Medical Center in Boston maintains a busy Level III NICU. Lowell General Hospital has a dedicated pediatric hospitalist service and Level IIB Special Care Nursery. Additionally, we have multiple outpatient pediatric specialty clinics.

Facilities and equipment are state-of-the-art and include:
A first-of-its-kind 3.0 Tesla MRI with ultrafast MR imaging informed by deep learning (AI) reconstructions and an additional 3.0 Tesla magnet and a new 1.5 Tesla MR.
2 dual-source, dual-energy Siemens Force CT scanners.
1 AS 64 CT with an IR guidance package.
8 new GE E10 ultrasound machines.
