Summary

The Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children's Hospital Section of Pediatric Hospital Medicine is recruiting qualified applicants to provide inpatient care at Texas Children's Medical Center and West Campus. We are currently recruiting hospitalists for 2 different career paths:

• Clinician-Educator Track: Physicians on this track will oversee care of patients at our community and medical center campus sites. They will work independently and with medical learners in the daily care and management of patients. Candidates for this position should possess excellent clinical skills and have an interest in scholarly pursuits in education, clinical research and/or quality improvement science.
• Physician Investigator Track: Candidates for the physician investigator track should have advanced skills in clinical, translational or quality improvement research. Candidates with an advanced degree (MPH, PhD or equivalent experience) are preferred. Candidates with a strong publication record, experience in grant writing, and enthusiasm for mentorship of junior faculty or fellows are ideal. An allotment of dedicated time for research is available and will be individually tailored based on the experience and interests of the candidate.
