PEGA architect

The incumbent is responsible for the implementation and hands-on support/develop Healthcare claim system. This includes but is not limited to upgrade, development, and configuration, design of Kafka and PEGA services. The position will assist in the efficient utilization and optimization of performance of claim system,

Primary responsibility is efficient operation and development of the Next Generation Claim System . Includes troubleshooting, development configuration and maintenance of existing and new claim system. Receives guidance and tasks from the Director of product delivery for system implementation, development and design.

Adhere to standard service level agreements, for heartbeat and day-to-day development, architect support.

Exhibits poise and confidence when working with and communicating to our customers and vendors.

Independently resolves problems. Recognizes risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate them. Participate in process improvements for software development life cycle. Participates in the review of application design version for business systems and applications

5-8 Years Experience

• This position requires a BA/BS in computer science or related field or a certification from technical school, OR equivalent experience, plus Business Architect/Modeler experience in high-level systems and/or applications.
• Certified Lead/Senior PEGA Architect and/or The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) certification preferred
• Experience with business and systems analysis and design methodologies and tools, and experience with large and complex systems.
• Excellent analytical, planning, and communication skills.
• Experience with multi-system/platform program integration.

Required Skills:

• Strong capability/process modelling skills, particularly in TOGAF.
• Strong ability to explain and demonstrate the value of business architecture
• Excellent written and spoken language skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Demonstrated awareness of new systems technologies and how they could be leveraged to benefit the company, customers and providers, new business strategies and corporate initiatives.
• Must possess the qualities, skills, business acumen, experience, and discipline to ensure business and systems architecture alignment.
• Strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management.
• The ability to interface across several channels, acting as a visionary, to assist, proactively in developing project direction.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Masters in Computer Science or Business Administration or related field.
• Served as business architect in health insurance payer organization.
• Active participant in business architecture organizations.
