About Axial
Axial is the largest software platform on the internet connecting buyers and sellers of small to medium sized businesses (SMBs).
There are over 30 million SMBs in the U.S. We exist to make a more efficient and transparent process for their owners as they take on one of the most important decisions of their life - selling their business.
Our mission is to unleash the potential of private capital markets for the benefit of all entrepreneurs.
We have amassed a network of thousands of firms within the private equity, investment banking, and business owner communities, and have built a pioneering digital transaction marketplace that radically improves the speed, confidentiality and success rates of small business M&A transactions. We are currently the market leader in our space, with 10,000+ companies being brought to market every year, representing $70B in potential transaction value and creating ~750,000 connections between small business buyers and sellers annually.
The Role:
Axial's people are the lifeblood of the business. The achievement of our mission is a direct result of the number of highly motivated people we have that are excited to contribute to that mission on a daily basis, as well as our ability to consistently bring on top talent to join our team.
We are seeking a People Operations professional who is passionate about building a world class people function supporting a hybrid, remote-first distributed workforce. You will own many key functions within our team, while also having the flexibility in your role to be creative, entrepreneurial, and work on career-building projects. The ideal People Operator is a true generalist who is excited about wearing many hats, skilled across many HR areas, and eager to be a hands-on builder who has successfully scaled teams in the past.
This is a unique opportunity to report to Axial's Vice President of Operations, work closely with our management team to support their people objectives, and uphold and evolve Axial's culture during this pivotal stage of its growth.
