JOB DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager, the Performance Manager will be responsible for providing leadership, direction, and functional expertise to the Plant for loss analysis, analytics, and training systems, managing up to 6 direct reports. This position supports the Plant Leadership Team in the JTE (Journey to Excellence) strategy focused on building Employee capability, enhancing the data reliability systems, and driving Employee engagement through implementation of high-performance work systems to achieve exceptional business results.

Key Responsibilities:
*Creating visibility to Loss Data
o Owning Loss Analysis program to support sites OGSM (Objective, Goals, Strategies, and Measures) and budget targets
o Helping prioritize loss reduction projects in collaboration with the site leadership team
o Providing supporting data analysis and justifications for any technology improvements and capital expenditures and feasibility studies
o Leading site Focused Improvement pillar
*Leading site Data and Analytics
o Maintaining integrity of site data through training, health checks, and change control. Focus includes scorecards, downtime data base, manual tracking systems and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) master data.
o Providing analysis and insights to key performance metrics like Process Reliability, Productivity, Yield and Scrap.
o Collating and publishing site scorecard every month.
o Creating and executing site Analytics strategy.
o Establishing scorecard review processes based on the appropriate frequency and participants.
o Driving data-based decision-making behavior at all levels
*Implement Effective Training systems
o Coach site employees and Subject Matter Experts on the methodology and tools:
Basic performance data and trends
Problem solving
Root cause analysis
Loss Reduction projects
o Participate on Training and Development Pillar
o Create and maintain site training systems

Required Skills & Experience

MUST HAVES:
5 years working in manufacturing operations (all industries)
Background in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) /Lean, Change Management and Organizational Effectiveness
Experience analyzing complex datasets, generating insights and building robust statistical models. Note: Should be comfortable working with structured and unstructured data.
Ability to analyze complex information in order to make judgments and decisions.
o Data intensive - thrives in detail with purpose - does not get paralyzed by analysis.
Ability to create people change plan for strategic initiatives, as well as influence large or high-risk change initiatives.
Create intra-plant collaboration (operations, functional areas, support areas)
Ability to provide key insights to leadership in order to influence priority development
Experience developing action plans, obtaining or assigning resources, and aligning day-to-day processes to achieve strategic goals.
Ability to achieve project goals and objectives by applying the discipline of planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about successful project completion.
Ability to use appropriate root cause analysis decision tools for decision making
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours and days as needed to meet business demands

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

PLUSSES:
Familiarity with creating reports using our current (and future) Power BI tools, e.g. SAP Hana, Tableau
CPG industry experience (Consumer Packaged Goods)
Experience developing justifications and cost estimates for capital projects
Experience developing and writing procedures with cross functional teams and supporting training activities
Experience leading and coaching process improvement and/or continuous improvement teams
Understands key financial topics, including: Budgeting, Cost Center Ownership, CAAP (Capital Asset Acquisition Proposal), IRR (Internal Rate of Return), Yield, Waste, Scrap and Loss Analysis
