The role of Performance Marketing Manager, Pizza Pizza is a critical role to our marketing team, supporting the company vision to deliver profit, innovation and engagement across all brand touch-points. This new role will be pivotal in providing impactful growth opportunities across omnichannel strategies and media plans.

What the Role Will Do:

Work with the Senior Marketing Director and media agency to develop and execute paid media & performance marketing strategies for dozens of programs and campaigns annually

Support media plan decision-making with digital marketing expertise and industry knowledge to achieve key marketing objectives, including driving same store sales growth targets

Execute media campaigns to ensure KPIs are set and achieved, optimize media mixes, and identify media innovations to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Oversee the digital space including managing and growing paid Social Media, Pais Search, Programmatic

Provide thought leadership and strategic plans to evolve with emerging trends including implementation of test and learn opportunities.

Develop exceptional proactive communication of marketing activity and performance, particularly paid media campaigns and direct mail flyers

Collaborate with Loyalty & CRM team members on alignment of customer acquisition and frequency strategies

Work with Brand marketing team to support briefing process, development and deployment of marketing communications across paid media

Provide post-promotional evaluation to marketing, operations and the broader organization

Budget forecasting & maintenance: manage multi-million dollar budget, including purchase order creation and monthly balancing

Build cross-functional relationships, particularly with Operations, IT and franchise partners to ensure gold-standard execution of all programs

Keep up with the latest market conditions, trends, and competition

Skills:

7+ years experience in performance marketing, marketing analytics and/or media planning

Proven experience in developing and executing strong marketing plans at both Brand and Local level with measurable results

Strong understanding of the 360 consumer journey and how to leverage all channels for delivering business performance and consumer relevance

Exceptional strategic and analytical skills

Effectively handles a fast-paced environment with frequently changing needs and requests

Self-starter with ability to work autonomously and proactively to uncover opportunities to move the business forward

Ability to take complex data and translate to insights

Solid presentation skills: ability to effectively communicate fact-based analysis, confidence in recommendations, and a positive demeanor

Strong collaborator: seamlessly managing across teams to ensure buy-in, awareness of activity, and integration

A team player: works respectfully, inclusively, and positively

Franchise and/or food service industry experience a strong asset

English and French bilingual an asset
