The base pay range for this position is
$140,000.00-$214,000.00 Annual
however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Job Title: Senior Director of Perioperative Services

Position Overview:

The Senior Director of Perioperative Services is responsible for overseeing and leading a departmental team to achieve both departmental and organizational goals and objectives. The department director plays a crucial role in planning, organizing, and coordinating the activities of the departmental team, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of services and completion of projects.

A Day in the Life:
  • Provider leadership, mentoring, and direction to the Same Day Services and OR Director.
  • Build one great team through Perioperative Services.
  • Assess and improve the overall efficiency of each area that makes up the full Perioperative experience for patients.
  • Assess and improve the OR case scheduling process.
  • Assess and improve the Block Schedule and overall OR Utilization by collaborating with the Surgery Committee and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and direction to department team members.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture within the department and organization.
  • Contribute to the development of departmental and organizational strategies.
  • Implement and execute strategic plans to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of departmental projects and continuous improvement activities.


About You!

This Job is For You if You Have:
  • Maintain nursing licensure, in good standing, acceptable in the State of Washington.
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification at hire and maintained.
  • BSN Education.
  • Proven experience in leadership and team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and strategically.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and foster innovation.


A Wow if You Have:
  • MSN education.
  • Surgical Nursing Specialty Certification.
  • Experience leading process improvement within an organization.
  • Experience leading changes within an organization.
  • Five or more years of nursing leadership experience.
