Our firm is growing, we have a large caseload in need of a team leader and experienced PI Attorney to lead our team. You'll handle the case file from start to finish with support from our team of highly skilled legal professionals. You should have excellent credentials, a minimum of 10 years of successful personal injury litigation along with trial case experience, and an authentic passion for helping people. Responsibilities
Converse with clients, expert witnesses, supporting witnesses, insurance company adjusters, and medical providers to gather information
Gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case and conduct legal research on case law and premises liability
Investigate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly
Review, modify, and draft motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, claims, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents
Negotiate suitable agreements and settle on the clients' behalf when appropriate
Qualifications
Excellent negotiation, drafting, research, and communication skills are desired
Up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, wrongful death, civil and family law, medical terminology, and medical malpractice is imperative
State Bar Association membership and state license to practice law is mandatory
Requires a bachelor's degree and a J.D. degree
Three years of personal injury litigation or trial experience in wrongful death, medical malpractice, personal injury, or civil litigation practice areas is a necessity
