Our law firm is seeking a skilled and successful personal injury attorney to join our growing team and help our clients find justice and compensation for their injuries. Our ideal candidate will handle case files from start to finish, have excellent credentials, a passion for helping people, and a minimum of 3 years of successful personal injury litigation and trial case experience. Responsibilities
Represent the client at hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and litigation
Negotiate suitable agreements and settle on the clients' behalf when appropriate
Govern personal injury case files from inception to completion
Review, modify, and draft motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, claims, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents
Gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case and conduct legal research on case law and premises liability
Qualifications
Strong Case Management System skills. We use Case Management software. We want lawyers who are proficient in working on cases in a CM system and doing it at volume -- without sacrificing client experience
Three years of personal injury litigation or trial experience in wrongful death, medical malpractice, personal injury, or civil litigation practice areas is a necessity
Excellent negotiation, drafting, research, and communication skills are desired
Requires a bachelor's degree and a J.D. degree
Computer proficiency is essential
State license to practice law and State Bar Association membership is mandatory
