Our law firm is seeking a skilled and successful personal injury attorney to join our growing team and help our clients find justice and compensation for their injuries. Our ideal candidate will handle case files from start to finish, have excellent credentials, a passion for helping people, and a minimum of 3 years of successful personal injury litigation and/or trial case experience. Responsibilities
Review, modify, and draft motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, claims, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents
Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, insurance company adjusters, supporting witnesses, and medical providers to gather information
Delegate tasks and manage a team of litigation paralegals, legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, and legal secretary
Record and update the status of all case files in the case management system
Arrange suitable agreements and settle on the clients' behalf when appropriate
Qualifications
State Bar Association membership and state license to practice law is mandatory
Requires a bachelor's degree and a J.D. degree
Up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, wrongful death, civil and family law, medical terminology, and medical malpractice is imperative
3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, or civil litigation practice areas is needed
Excellent negotiation, drafting, research, and communication skills are desired
