Description:
The bilingual Pharmacist provides professional pharmacy services to CCHS patients in Spanish and English in ddition to supervising the technical employees when working.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Delegates to pharmacy staff members the filling of prescriptions and administrative tasks, and then supervises their completion and accuracy.
2. Counsels patients and maintains computerized confidential patient records of drug therapies to prevent harmful drug interaction. Answers patients' questions and provides information on medications and health.
3. Provides oversight for cash collections for the shift worked.
4. Serves as liaison between patients and medical providers in order to catch and prevent prescription errors.
5. Maintains inventory of supplies and places orders, as appropriate.
6. Complies with federal and state requirements and regulations.
7. Performs other duties, as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Degree in Pharmacy, fluent in Spanish and English
Experience: Minimum of 6 months working in a community retail pharmacy.
Licenses or Certifications: Doctor of Pharmacy, Tennessee pharmacy license
Mental Requirements
Level 1 - Requires some concentration and normal attention. Generally, once the job is learned, the tasks can be performed more or less automatically.
Level 2 - Requires high periods of concentration intermittently and normal attention. Generally, even once the job is learned, tasks will require normal attention to deal with recurring variables.
