How you'll Help Us Improve Healthcare
- Ensure proper dispensing of medications to the right patient, dose, and route of administration
- Perform drug utilization reviews on all medications dispensed
- Provide patient care services to enhance patient experience including but not limited to immunizations, patient consultations, medication therapy management, and resolving patient conflicts
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment
- Oversee pharmacy interns, technicians, and other individuals involved in the daily operation of the pharmacy
- Assist in managing inventory including controlled substances, storage, record keeping, and handling of recalled and expired medications
- Adhere to applicable state and federal pharmacy practice rules, regulations, and procedures
- Perform other administrative tasks when needed
- Other duties necessary to improve patient care and increase efficiency
A Few Things About You
- Must hold a bachelor's degree or doctorate degree in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy
- Must be in good standing with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy
- Active immunization and CPR certifications (preferred)
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology
- Availability to work weekends and holidays (rotations)
- Willingness to obtain additional licensures and certifications when asked
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Passionate about helping patients and improving healthcare
