The Pharmacist at Montgomery Cancer Center will be based in our Infusion Pharmacy. The Pharmacist will be responsible for medication order entry, clinical patient evaluation, preparation, compounding and dispensing of pharmaceutical products, along with compliance with USP guidelines. Great schedule, Monday - Friday, day shift.Description

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy required, PharmD preferred.
• PGY1 residency or relevant clinical experience required, PGY 2 oncology residency preferred.
• Requires valid and active licensure and controlled substance certification with the Alabama Board of Pharmacy.
• Prefers experience in an oncology setting.
• Prefers Parenteral Certification, if not certified upon employment, required within (6) months of employment.
• Ability to accurately perform computer order entry duties.
• Proficient in needed pharmaceutical calculations and the metric system.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
