POSITION SUMMARY:
The Pharmacist will dispense drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners and provide information to patients about medications and their use. He or she may advise physicians and other health practitioners on the selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects of medications.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The Pharmacist will dispense drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners and provide information to patients about medications and their use. He or she may advise physicians and other health practitioners on the selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects of medications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree.
- Must be a licensed pharmacist in the State of Florida
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Advising medical personnel regarding healthcare issues.
- Advise patients on the effects of health conditions or treatments.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan or provide treatment.
- Communicate detailed medical information to patients or family members.
- Determine protocols for medical procedures.
- Instruct patients in the use of assistive equipment.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies or equipment.
- Maintain medical facility records.
- Manage healthcare operations.
- Merchandise healthcare products or services.
- Order medical supplies or equipment.
- Prepare medications or medical solutions.
- Present medical research reports.
- Recommend types of assistive devices.
- Refer patients to other healthcare practitioners or health resources.
- Train medical providers.
- Treat chronic diseases or disorders.
- Verify the accuracy of patient information
- Knowledge of 340b medication and Pioneer Software
COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Adheres to all applicable federal, state, local, and company-maintained standards of compliance, ethics, and policies concerned with the administration and delivery of agency services.
- Meets deadlines, requirements, and expectations as established by the supervisor, agency, and department.
- Completes administrative functions and data entry timely and accurate.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- General climate-controlled health care setting.
- Most work is completed while seated at a desk using standard office equipment.
