The Pharmacist is responsible for staffing night shift in the hospital Pharmacy. The LMH Health Pharmacy serves a 170 bed facility and associated ambulatory and physician clinics. The Pharmacist works collaboratively with providers, nursing, and ancillary departments to meet the needs of our patients and community.

The Pharmacist is responsible for staffing night shift in the hospital Pharmacy. The LMH Health Pharmacy serves a 170 bed facility and associated ambulatory and physician clinics. The Pharmacist works collaboratively with providers, nursing, and ancillary departments to meet the needs of our patients and community.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the safety of the medication use process.
- Accurately and efficiently process medication orders.
- Medication reconciliation and management.
- Facilitate transitions of care.
- Facilitate medication use in critical settings (Code Blue, Code Stroke).
- Precept pharmacy students on APPE/IPPE rotations and oversee employed interns.
- Serve as a drug information resource regarding mediation use.
- Actively engage in professional development to maintain current skills and knowledge of clinical standards of care.
Qualifications
Required:
- Kansas Pharmacist License.
- PGY1 residency or equivalent experience (3-5 years of clinical pharmacy practice).
- BLS Certification.
Encouraged:
- Board Certification or intent to complete within 1 year of hire.
- Certified immunizer.
- ACLS Certification.
