Pharmacist (Full-Time role)
Columbus, OH
Monday through Friday, 8-hour shift between 6am to 10pm Eastern Time (multiple shifts available)
Rotating Saturday and Sunday shift from 8am to 4pm
Responsibilities
Ensure proper dispensing of medications to the right patient, dose, and route of administration
Perform drug utilization reviews on all medications dispensed
Provide patient care services to enhance patient experience including but not limited to immunizations, patient consultations, medication therapy management, and resolving patient conflicts
Ensure a safe and clean working environment
Oversee pharmacy interns, technicians, and other individuals involved in the daily operation of the pharmacy
Assist in managing inventory including controlled substances, storage, record keeping, and handling of recalled and expired medications
Adhere to applicable state and federal pharmacy practice rules, regulations, and procedures
Perform other administrative tasks when needed
Other duties necessary to improve patient care and increase efficiency
Required Skills
Must hold a bachelor's degree or doctorate degree in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy
Must be in good standing with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy
Active immunization and CPR certifications (preferred)
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology
Availability to work weekends and holidays (rotations)
Willingness to obtain additional licensures and certifications when asked
Strong communication and leadership skills
Passionate about helping patients and improving healthcare
