QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Leading collaborative approach for Pharmacy Services at IRMC with potential for expansion to other facilities across PMCN. Including and not limited to planning and prioritization of staff and operations planning, coordination of pharmaceutical product purchasing, 340b planning, development and supervision,
- Implementing policies and procedures that are approved by the medical staff and hospital administration which ensure compliance with Accreditation rules, state and federal laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
- Developing goals and objectives for the department and to integrate pharmacy into the organizational strategic initiatives.
- Recommending a sufficient number of qualified and competent persons to provide pharmaceutical care and to direct the employment process for the department.
- Developing, monitoring, and administering the operating and capital budgets for the department and to participate in committees and programs in support of patient care.
- Utilizing analytical abilities to deal with complex pharmaceutical details and quantitative abilities necessary to function as a pharmacist.
- Utilizing excellent business sense and managerial skills as well as interpersonal communication skills to lead and deal effectively with others.
- Leading cross-facility and cross-discipline fields towards operational and strategic goals of safe, effective and reliable care.
- Working on the computer for extended periods of time.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- EDUCATION: BS or Doctoral of Pharmacy degree from a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education
- Master's Degree in Business, Hospital Administration, or like degree preferred
- EXPERIENCE: Orientation and knowledge in the specialized function of a hospital pharmacy or completion of a hospital pharmacy residency program accredited by ASHP
- LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
- Licensed to practice Pharmacy in Pennsylvania
