The Manager, Pharmacy shall be responsible for all aspects of Pharmacy management. The Manager will manage the Pharmacy and provide leadership for all employees within the Pharmacy. This individual will provide the necessary tools to ensure that the department is fiscally responsible as well as participation in any Performance Improvement activities and other Quality initiatives. In conjunction with Pharmacy leadership, the Manager will assist with establishing policies and procedures that govern the Pharmacy. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.Description

• Graduate from an accredited School of Pharmacy with a Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree required.
• Experience in Pharmacy.
• Post graduate experience in patient care.
• Prefer at least 2 years management experience.
• Alabama Pharmacist licensure required, Alabama Controlled Substance certification required
• Evidence of commitment to continuing education.
• Ability to accurately perform computer order entry duties.
• Proficient in needed pharmaceutical calculations and the metric system.
• Knowledge in aseptic technique.
