Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Philanthropy Officer for our Rehab Philanthropy department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As a Philanthropy Officer, you will:
Develop, plan, coordinate and assure implementation of a strategic plan that focuses on strategies to develop donors and their contributions in support of the organization. Can focus on fundraising as well as a future capital campaign that is informed by a careful analysis of past giving patterns and trends, the results of a philanthropic marketing study, and a bold vision for future success.
Develop and execute initiatives to significantly expand major gift-level philanthropic support from grateful patients and other prominent individuals who value the important role ACC plays in the community.
Maintain a portfolio of current major and principal gift donors and prospective donors and set and achieve ambitious personal fundraising goals.
Build strong, cooperative, and productive relationships with current and prospective donors and other key stakeholders at ACC including the hospital president and senior executives
Maintain accountability and compliance standards for donors and funding sources.
Foster a culture of philanthropy and ensure that fund development is executed in keeping with the organization's mission, vision, values, and plans.
Provide staff leadership for planning, board development, recruitment, volunteer engagement, and financial reporting.

Effective communication skills
Problem-solving skills and the ability to adjust to new priorities as needed
Bachelor's degree in a related field required, Master's degree preferred
Strong track record with a minimum of 5 years' experience as a successful major gift fundraiser.
Excellent verbal and handwritten communication skills

$116,227.90 - $174,341.85
