Summary:
The Senior Population Health Data Analyst plays a critical role in analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights that drive meaningful business decisions and strategies to improve care provided by the organization. This role requires a blend of business acumen and technical proficiency to interpret complex data and support Population Health goals.
Other information:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
8 or greater years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence that includes healthcare (e.g. insurance health plan, physician practice, or hospital performing health plan and hospital/physician financial analysis)
Familiarity with EHR, preferably Epic, applications including financial and clinical data
Expertise in MS Excel with proficiency using formulas, PivotTables, linked worksheets, graphing and other reporting and presentation features
Expertise with SQL and relational database concepts. Specific experience with PostgreSQL within AWS preferred.
Proficiency with Tableau, Amazon QuickSight, or other industry-standard data visualization software
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
Works well independently and within a team structure with minimal supervision
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
