What you'll do...

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Physical Security Contract Scheduler Consultant to develop and implement shift schedules for 24/7 security contracts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing efficient schedules that eliminate unnecessary overtime, ensure full weekend coverage, and maintain compliance with contract requirements and labor laws.

Day to day you'll ...

• Develop and maintain 24-hour, 7-day-a-week shift schedules for multiple security contracts.
• Create rotating schedules that ensure consistent weekend coverage without exceeding overtime thresholds.
• Analyze staffing needs and align scheduling strategies with contract requirements and budget limitations.
• Collaborate with security operations managers to align schedules with personnel availability and site coverage needs.
• Implement scheduling solutions that promote guard well-being, morale, and retention.
• Use scheduling tools/software (e.g., Trackforce Valiant, WinTeam, WhenToWork, Excel) to generate and adjust schedules.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and gaps in coverage.
• Provide guidance on best practices for long-term schedule sustainability.

What you'll bring to the team...

Work Experience

• 5+ years of experience in security scheduling, workforce management, or contract operations.
• Experience working in physical security, law enforcement, or government contracting environments preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience designing 24/7 shift schedules that avoid overtime and ensure full weekend staffing.
• Strong understanding of labor laws, including FLSA, and familiarity with union and non-union environments.
• Proficiency with security scheduling software and Excel-based tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of rotating shift patterns (e.g., Panama, DuPont, Pitman schedules).
• Experience managing scheduling for multi-site or high-clearance environments.
• Ability to train operations staff in schedule implementation and adjustment.

Location: Remote with occasional on-site visits (as needed)
