Description:
This is an Independent Contractor position and pay will depend on experience. The Physical Therapist Plans, organizes and delivers physical therapy programs that help patients/clients recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength and prevent deformities. Works in conjunction with the Interdisciplinary Team and Personal Care Attendants, and Home Health Aides, to coordinate services to patient/clients receiving services through ARCA. Acts as ARCA representative and advocate for patient/clients receiving services and is the main liaison between the organization and the patient/clients' families and/or guardians.
Qualifications: Graduate from a Physical Therapy accredited program. Must have current license or must be eligible for licensure in Physical Therapy in State of New Mexico. At least one year of experience working with persons who have acquired brain injuries or disabilities, their families, and related community agencies. Knowledge of brain injuries preferred. 2+ year PT experience in in-home, or rehabilitiation setting preferred. 1 -year experience working in a community health field preferred.
Pay is dependent on experience and starting at $115/hour.
