Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Specialty: Physical Therapy
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (could be 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM if needed)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in both inpatient and outpatient services required
License: Physical Therapist license in good standing from the state of Illinois
Certifications: CPR
Must-Have:
- CPR certification
- Valid Driver's License
- 1 year of inpatient experience
- 1 year of outpatient experience
Job Description:
- Evaluate, reassess, and treat physical therapy conditions.
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team including additional physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, and occupational therapists.
- Work in an inpatient setting with acute referrals and swing bed patients to meet medical needs.
- Provide care in a rural-based outpatient clinic covering a variety of conditions. Specialized services such as pelvic floor therapy are not expected, but specializations are welcomed.
- Utilize EPIC for documentation and MedBridge for computerized home exercise programs.
- Participate in a defined orientation process that includes competencies, policy review, procedures, EPIC training, and patient care processes.
- Must produce a negative drug screen as part of a drug-free campus policy.
