Job Title: Outpatient Orthopedic Therapist
Job Specialty: Orthopedics
Job Duration: To Be Determined
Shift: To Be Determined
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week, with an expectation of working up to 40 hours per week
Experience: Outpatient experience preferred; new graduates and first-time travelers are welcome to apply.
License: Relevant licensing required where practice occurs
Certifications: Relevant certifications as applicable in the field
Must-Have:
- Ability to manage a patient population focused on orthopedics.
- Flexibility to meet productivity expectations.
- Skill in managing appointments efficiently, including the possibility of double-booking follow-up visits.
Job Description:
- Provide care to a patient population primarily consisting of individuals with orthopedic conditions.
- Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Ensure productivity by managing approximately 60 visits per week.
- Schedule and manage 12-14 patient appointments per day.
- There will be no requirement to float to other clinics.
- Maintain documentation according to clinic standards and legal requirements.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure understanding of treatment plans and progress.
- Participate in continuous education and training to maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field of orthopedics.
