Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients physical health, mobility, and functional abilities
- Develop individualized care plans using evidence-based physical therapy practices
- Implement therapeutic treatments and monitor patient progress
- Modify care plans as needed based on ongoing assessment and patient response
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and business records
- Supervise physical therapy assistants and mentor one affiliating student annually
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, community outreach, and program development
Qualifications:
- Current Vermont state licensure (or eligible) as a Physical Therapist
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
- Previous experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings preferred
