Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 17:30, Monday to Friday)

Experience: Minimum 1 year required
License: Arizona License Required
Certifications: Board Certification (BC or BE required), ACLS
Must-Have: Must show 100 EP cases in the last 2 years in case logs, with emphasis on ablations
Job Description:
- Work within the Electrophysiology specialty, primarily handling cardiac electrophysiology and heart rhythm disturbances.
- Responsible for performing ablations; significant experience required.
- Shift Details: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
- Variations in schedule include every Wednesday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in-office clinic, every 2nd Friday of the month 8:00 am to 5:00 pm telemedicine clinic, and every 4th Friday of the month 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in-office clinic (first patient at 9:00 am).
- Call requirements include night beeper call on Fridays during specific weeks.
- Conduct hospital consults in the Cath Lab; 3-4 consults per day, plus electrophysiology cases, 4-6 per day depending on case length.
- Utilize Cerner as the EMR system.
- Responsible for handling a patient load of 20-22 adult patients per day in the clinic setting.
- Credentialing timeframe is approximately 30 days; recent case logs and vaccination records required.
- Prior Cerner training/orientation required before starting, scheduled approximately one week prior to start.
- Maintain medical records promptly, addressing any deficiencies as notified.
Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and meet the credentialing and experience requirements listed. Exemptions for COVID-19 and flu vaccines are allowed on medical or religious grounds. Competitive compensation and a supportive work environment offered.
