Responsibilities
- Collegial, well-respected team of 5 OB/GYNs, a midwife, nurses, lactation consultant, and childbirth educators
- Flexible work schedule that can be designed to meet personal and professional needs. Options include potential for 26 weeks/year or 4-day work week
- Rounding and call schedule to ensure work/life balance. Current call is 1:6 weekend call and 1 day/week
- Autonomy to determine patient volumes and number of deliveries. Currently 450 - 500 deliveries annually amongst 4 OB physicians
- Department is located adjacent to other women's health services including on site lab, bone density, mammography, ultrasound stress testing and monitoring
- Outpatient cases performed in state of the art surgery center owned and operated by Quincy Medical Group houses 5 ORs (1 hybrid)
- Inpatients cases and deliveries performed at Blessing Hospital. DaVinci robot and VBACs available
- Ob hospitalists available as backup
- Birth center to open in early 2025
- Strong compensation package; all current ob/gyn physicians earning over 90th percentile. First year compensation package includes base salary, immediate ability to bonus, sign on bonus, moving expense reimbursement, 6 weeks time off and generous benefits package
- Equity shares available after first year
