Job Description

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Physician Assistants hired for the role of "Care Team Quarterback" will hold a hybrid (partly virtual, partly in person) position to support PCPs and Care Teams in managing the following tasks they relate to team-based care within adult primary care clinic:

• Prior Authorizations
• Medication refills
• eConsult recommendation ordering and follow-up.
• Forms follow-up and completion.
• InBasket triage
• Abnormal results follow-up and management
• Infusion center related consents and orders
• PCP Vacation InBasket coverage
• Patient message response

Department Preferences

• A valid and current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Spanish preferred.
