We're looking for someone to join our team as a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician who:

The Primary Care Physician is responsible for providing medical services for the patients of Clinica Sierra Vista, Inc. The Primary Care Physician is responsible to the Medical Director for all clinical practice activities and responsible to the Chief Executive Officer for all non-clinical activities.

Essential Functions:
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
  • Adheres to the highest standards of medical ethics at all times.
  • Perform assessments and diagnoses of patients and offer appropriate treatment.
  • Assures quality of care for all patients at all times and regularly participates in clinic Peer Review and Quality Assurance Programs.
  • Adheres to and complies with Bureau of Primary Healthcare standards of clinical practice.
  • Shares in phone-triage responsibilities with other CSV Physicians.
  • Establishes and maintains affiliations and/or privileges with local hospital(s).
  • Is encouraged to participate in the activities of Kern Medical Society.
  • May represent CSV in professional groups.
  • May assist the Chief Medical Officer in design, implementation, and evaluation of health care programs/protocols for patients and staff.
  • Required to supervise mid-level personnel, including RN's, NP's and Physicians Assistant's on-site and by telephone with outlying clinic sites.

You will be successful with the following qualifications:
  • Professional clinical experience in physician's specialty.
  • California Physician's License
  • DEA Certificate
  • BLS certification
  • Professional clinical experience in physician's specialty.
  • Board Certification highly desirable.
  • Experience in EPIC is highly preferred
  • Authoritative knowledge of the principles, practice, and techniques in the physician's specialty.
  • Interests in the research potential inherent in physician's specialty highly desirable.
