Seeking a BC/BE Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist - Acute Inpatient Child & Adolescent program - Complete initial psychiatric evaluations, assessments, discharges, patient documentation, treatment team meetings, and daily care of assigned patients - Setting is mostly inpatient with optional available OP, PHP, or RTC volume available if interested. - Open to variations of block scheduling or Monday-Friday; Open to hybrid in-person/remote arrangements - Minimal call/weekend coverage: 1:5 Saturday/Sunday rounding and once per week evening call (phone only). - Opportunity for personal and professional growth, Unit Leadership, etc. - Impact the next generation of clinicians by mentoring medical students, psychiatry residents and fellows, nursing students, etc. - Must have active AK license or the ability to obtain one - Compensation and Benefits: Base salary range: $330,000-$350,000, determined by experience level, qualifications, job fit, and other factors, Malpractice insurance coverage, 26 days of Paid Time Off annually, CME allowance, Health insurance, medical, dental, vision, ST/LT disability, etc, Relocation and/or Sign-On Bonus package if needed, Student Loan Repayment optional, Company-matched 401k and Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Employed W-2 or Independent Contractor arrangements available. Community/Facility info: The largest private mental health system in Alaska. Our behavioral health system consists of an acute care hospital and residential treatment centers.We are committed to providing easy access to a comprehensive range of behavioral health services for patients ages 5 through 17. We provide a continuum of care that includes crisis evaluation and stabilization, as well as treatment for children with a mental illness. The hospital has 37 double rooms (accommodating up to 74 children and teens) with 19 rooms for teens and 18 for preteens and children. We have classrooms, specialized activity and therapy areas, a gym with a climbing wall, cafeteria, indoor and outdoor activity and recreation areas, outdoor challenge course, and a solarium for family and group gatherings. Children share rooms in areas specially designated for their age, gender and therapy goals. Our Adolescent wing has both male and female units. Although there are group rooms on both adolescent units, we offer some co-ed groups led by a leading Psychiatrist, based on individual treatment needs.
