Audubon is currently seeking a Piping Superintendent to join our team in our Off Site Office. The Piping Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all piping-related field activities on a construction project, with a primary focus on gas processing and treating facilities and compressor stations. This includes supervising crews, managing field installation, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and supporting schedule and cost performance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct the day-to-day field piping operations and ensure crews are working safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with project management, field engineering, QA/QC, and other superintendents to ensure piping work integrates smoothly into the overall schedule.
  • Ensure compliance with all project specifications, drawings, procedures, and applicable codes.
  • Monitor productivity and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget.
  • Review piping isometrics, plans, and spool sheets; resolve field installation conflicts.
  • Lead daily toolbox talks and enforce site safety policies and procedures.
  • Track piping quantities installed vs. earned for progress reporting and forecasting.
  • Work with materials management to ensure piping materials are available to support schedule.
  • Mentor and supervise foremen and craft personnel, support workforce development.


EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • HS Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 10+ years of piping experience in industrial construction, including 5+ years in a supervisory role.
  • NCCER or equivalent craft certification, preferred
  • OSHA 30 or other relevant safety credentials, preferred
  • Strong experience with gas plants, treating facilities, and compressor stations.
  • Proficient in reading P&IDs, piping isometrics, and construction drawings.
  • Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to piping (e.g., ASME B31.3).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage crews, track progress, and solve field problems.
  • Must be able to work in outdoor conditions and travel to remote project sites.
