The Plant Controller will play a key leadership role within the finance department and plant leadership team. This position will partner with Operations leadership to monitor plant performance and provide financial perspective and decision-making support to drive best-in-class performance. The Plant Controller will also be an integral part of JDE implementation. He/ She will play a key leadership role within the finance department and plant leadership team.

Duties and Responsibilities
- The Plant Controller will partner with Operations leadership to monitor plant performance and provide financial perspective and decision-making support to drive best-in-class performance.
- The Plant Controller is responsible for providing timely and accurate financial information and reporting in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Oversee the activities of the accounting department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial data, quarterly and annual financial statements, annual budgets and internal audits.
- Oversee the activities of the accounts receivable department to ensure the accurate and timely management of all accounts receivable aging components including billing, cash receipts application, etc.
- Optimize usage of the JD Edwards Enterprise One ERP system for manufacturing.
- Finance business partner to the Plant Manager and Plant Leadership team.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts associated with internal controls, processes, and procedures.
- Provide financial perspective and decision-making support to improve plant financial performance.
- Lead reporting and analysis of financial data including understanding drivers associated with business processes, trends, and key performance indicators.
- Lead development of the annual plant budget and monthly forecasts.
- Lead month-end reporting requirements including plant actual results compared to budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Lead standard cost development for new products.
- Lead efforts in identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve productivity.
- Lead to implement proper Inventory Controls and valuation methodology and reconcile the perpetual inventory with General Ledger.
- Emphasis on internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization; create and promote a positive and supportive work environment.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting
- Must have 5+ years of similar manufacturing finance experience
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual in Spanish preferred
