Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Manage and optimize production schedules to meet customer demands.
- Implement and manage quality control processes to ensure product standards are met.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Develop and manage budgets to optimize resource allocation and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with supply chain management for effective inventory control and material procurement.
- Ensure regulatory compliance in all aspects of plant operations.
- Implement effective equipment maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and provide leadership for the plant staff.
- Monitor performance metrics and report on operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Strong understanding of operations management principles and practices.
- Proven track record in quality control and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
- Excellent budgeting and financial management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of supply chain management and inventory control processes.
