We are looking for a Platform Buying Manager who will own the day-to-day planning, execution, and optimization of Paid Social (Meta) and Paid Video (YouTube) media campaigns across a portfolio of clients. This role is built for someone who thrives at the intersection of performance and creativity - someone who understands that media is no longer linear, and that platforms like Meta, YouTube, TikTok, and Pinterest play unique and evolving roles throughout the full funnel.
You'll report to the VP of Media and collaborate closely with strategy, creative, analytics, and client teams to bring integrated campaigns to life. You're someone who can toggle between performance precision and brand storytelling.
This role is equal parts strategic and hands-on. You'll be managing platform buys that drive measurable outcomes, advising on ad format development, testing creative concepts, interpreting data, and helping shape the kind of work that drives business outcomes.

Responsibilities
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. Salary is determined based on a wide range of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, job duties, and geographic location. Responsibilities
- Implement the process and assist with the management of the strategic, tactical and operational execution of all paid social media products, which includes Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest and other programmatically-driven platforms and networks for Clients of responsibility.
- Confer with other Media Team staff, Clients, and Account Services to establish media objectives, strategies and tactics for advertising campaigns.
- Implement the management of daily tasks in support of the media products including but not limited to: daily pacing, bid adjustments, creative testing and optimizations, conversion rate analysis, negative placements, and reporting updates.
- Evaluate composition and validity of channels to determine which would most effectively reach and convert target audiences.
- Provide media planning input to fulfill client media objectives to meet the client target KPIs.
- Partner with key agency and client analytics staff to deliver reporting through existing dashboards to create slide decks/narratives to make actionable recommendations.
- Maintain productive working relationships with related 3rd party vendors and platforms, including annual plan negotiation, budget allocation and setting KPIs based on specialty.
- Advise teams and clients on ad format content development for performance optimization across platforms.
- 3+ years' experience in paid performance marketing working in a Media/Advertising agency
- Experience buying eComm across Facebook Ads and Instagram Ads platforms
- Experience launching and optimizing paid video ads in YouTube
- Certification in Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, or comparable platforms
- Creative thinker with data-driven mindset
- Technologically savvy, always up-to-date on industry trends & practices
- Responsible for developing the skill and knowledge base of those more junior as well as supervise, advise and counsel colleagues in other departments
- Experience with reach, awareness, or consideration objectives and measuring things like awareness increases, long-term sales impact, or softer metrics
- Working knowledge of tagging & tracking, especially in ecomm or lead gen environments
- Experience converting content as measured by CPA, ROAS, traffic cost, etc
- SEM/SEO experience a plus
- Familiar with performance marketing metrics and platforms for both web and app channel will be a big plus
- Appetite for innovative and unproven executions like Hashtag Challenges, live shopping events, etc.
- Able to work with and advise on various data sets to identify, build and activate desired target audiences across channels
- Proficient in Excel
- Familiarity with Google Suite, Slack and Microsoft Office
- Effective written, verbal, and visual communicator
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and be resourceful, flexible and quick to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to foster trusting relationships with teammates and clients
