This position will function as the project manager for a capital Engineering Change (EC) portfolio. Specific responsibilities/functions include:

• Ownership of the EC portfolio planning software/tool
• Coordination between different discipline design teams to execute planned ECs
• Resource planning/scheduling of design personnel
• Planning and preparation for EC activities
• Coordinating/performing scoping documents, estimates, contract initiation activities for external engineering products, initial design planning for large projects
• Coordinate with design engineering leaders to ensure EC schedules and commitments are known and being achieved
• Responsible for improving EC preparation and predictability by improved cross-discipline management of the portfolio

This position is typically retained to manage multiple "White" or "Green I" projects per the Project Management Center of Excellence Project Profile Matrix.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
• Graduation from a two-year college or university.
• Working knowledge of project management principles.
• Working knowledge to proficiency in Project Management, Decision Making, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving; Project-related work experience; Risk Management; Project Leadership; Proven Collaborative Team Member.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduation from a four-year college or university.
• Utility Technical Certifications/Training.
• PMI (PMP or CAPM) Certification; CMII certificates; Professional Engineer License.
• Working knowledge to proficiency in project-related Scheduling/Cost Controls.
• Experience in the utility industry.
• Knowledge in construction management.
