Position Summary:

This position provides leadership of the Project Management Office, ensuring alignment of strategic initiatives with business objectives. The PMO Leader will lead project managers as they lead individual projects and core teams. Develops and manages the tools in which the organization will use to execute projects. Liaise with functional leads to align on projects within organization and lead cross-functional discussion on project priority and resourcing. As a senior leader, the PMO Lead will establish best practices, governance frameworks, and performance metrics while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. This position is critical in helping Resolve Surgical Technologies maximize the number of patients served while maintaining a high level of quality and safety. The preference for this role is in person, but a hybrid role would be considered for outstanding candidates.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead PMO Office and Project Managers
  • Lead projects as needed using the appropriate Project structure
  • Drive culture of project leadership
  • Work with Executive leaders to create alignment on organizational priorities
  • Own the process of project management for the organization
  • Track project status throughout organization and report to exec team
  • Create and maintain tools for projects for the organization
  • Manage and develop skills within project managers
  • Maintains active involvement in employee selection, training and development. Performs related hiring, performance reviews, corrective actions, etc. for direct-line employees and provides strong oversight for employees reporting under supervisory staff, if applicable.
  • Seek buy-in from stakeholders and raise issues appropriately
  • Collaborate for important decision making, identifying the appropriate levels of input
  • Seek and deliver feedback with appropriate candor to enhance team performance
  • Motivate peers and facilitate team-building
  • Understand the product development process and govern team accordingly
  • Eliminate or minimize project risks, identifying key risks and potential solutions
  • Manage conflict effectively
  • Understand the financial impacts of projects, estimating costs and timing
  • Manage workload to comply with the portfolio perspective

Education/Experience Required
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience
  • BA / BS degree and 7-10 years' experience as a project manager or leader OR
  • MA / MS degree (MBA preferred) and 5-7 years' experience as a project manager or leader OR
  • Equivalent Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • PMP Certification Preferred
  • LSS Green Belt (minimum), preferred
  • Change Management Certification, preferred
