Safran Test Cells is seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager Officer (PMO) Military Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is vital in ensuring that our military and government
programs comply with all regulations, maintain high standards, and execute successfully. The PMO Military Specialist will support the implementation of program strategies, manage compliance, and drive project success by overseeing project management activities within military operations.In this role, the specialist will coordinate with military personnel, project teams, and external vendors to
ensure clear communication and collaboration. Additionally, they will provide expertise in military operations and regulations to ensure full compliance, while developing and implementing standardized project management processes tailored to the specific needs of military programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide expert knowledge of government contracting processes and regulations, ensuring compliance throughout the program lifecycle.
Ensure adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), National Stock Number (NSN), Federal Supply Acquisition (FSA), and General Services Administration (GSA)
Set and maintain program standards, including defining program metrics and performance indicators.
Support the Program Manager with the execution of program strategy and the coordination of project activities.
Control knowledge management by maintaining accurate records, setting documentation standards, and collecting lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Communicate effectively in both writing, presentations, and verbally with all levels of internal and external stakeholders to ensure clarity of project goals, objectives, and expectations.
Ability to present to audiences of all sizes with confidence, tact, and diplomacy.
Analyze project data and performance metrics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Assist in the development and management of project budgets, schedules, and resources.
Willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time, domestically & potentially internationally, as required.
Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience
Strong understanding of government contracting processes & regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to navigate, learn, & apply yourself to new technology
Experience in knowledge management and maintaining documentation standards.
Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), National Stock Number (NSN), Federal Supply Acquisition (FSA), & General Services Administration (GSA) regulations &
requirements
Demonstrated ability to set and maintain program standards & support program execution.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
