Police Lieutenant

For Police Sergeants hired prior to March 2, 2010:Currently employed as a Police Sergeant by Miami-Dade County with permanent status and two continuous years of full-time service as a Police Sergeant with Miami-Dade County immediately preceding the examination date. Must have achieved an overall rating of satisfactory or above on the performance evaluation covering the most recent period to be eligible for the examination. For Police Sergeants hired on or after March 2, 2010:Currently employed as a Police Sergeant by Miami-Dade County with permanent status and five years of continuous sworn full-time employment, two of which must be as a Police Sergeant immediately preceding the examination date. Must have achieved an overall rating of satisfactory or above on the performance evaluation covering the most recent rating period to be eligible for the examination.
